, ' VALUE OF EXPERIMENTS. BT CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT (Received April 2, 10.45 a.m.) / LONDON, April 1. The House of Lords rejected the Anti-Vivisection Bill. Lord' Mildmay, a member 'of the Medical Research Council, predicted that experiments on dogs in the investigation of distemper were likely to shed a flood of light on influenza, smallpox, whooping cough, and scarlet/ fever.
