She will leave here on Easter Monday and will leave from Wellington on the following day. Mr C. J. De Garis has signed - a contract to appear in’ an Australian film production, “The Boomerang.” It is being arranged by a Sydney syndicate, which, for its present operations at least, will be known as . the De Garis Film Syndicate. De Garis will play the leading part in the picture, which, it is.expected, will be ready for release, in about two months. The objects of the him, it was stated in Melbourne recently, are to give De Garis an opportunity of explaining the facts behind the Kendenup finance, and also to justify his recent escapade. The secret of his disappearance from Melbourne,‘it is stated, will, be told. .
