Hunting folk and their friends will he interested to learn that, thejopemng meet this season will he held oil Friday, April 24 , at “Stainley Park,” Messrs Lnpton Bros.’ homestead property, Waver ley. Auzac Bay falls on the Saturday which wo-ikl otherwise be the opening meet. The other fixtures are not vet available, nut will be published when they are. It is expected that the -first meet at this eiid will be field on Wednesday, May 6, at MaUaia. All tiiose who have not yet. put their hunters till hard feed would lie well aclv ised to do so n-sw, so that they will start the season in good fettle. The meet at “Stainley Park”, is always a popular -due, and Messrs Lnpton Bros.’ country is noted for good rnhs. For many seasons past the opening meet .ins been held there. .Manaia is good ..unting country, too, and its folk are .dike popular with all hunting people. This season should see the otherwise hostile box thorn hedges o-i the.
