MANY PASSINGS.

The fifth Christchurch wool safe was held this morning, when .5983 hales were offered. The attendance of buyers was small, and wool was not very attractive. Frequently bids failed to reach owners’ reserves, so that a large number of passings were made, including several well-known clips.
