PRAIRIE FIRES.
EXTENSIVE DAMAGE CAUSED. fcY ■SABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. % NEW YORK, March 27. ' Two prairie fires which raged virtually unchecked for two days in North and South Dakota were on Friday reported to be under control after thousands of tons of hay, hundreds, of cattle and many farms had been destroyed over 150,000 acres which were swept. It is estimated that the damage amounts to 1,000,000 dollars.
