The same lad who is now 22 years of age is driving the car in the present photo taken on 27th February, 1925. I think this car is one of the best advertisements for the Ford car round about Auckland. I do not think we spent 1/- on the engine until 10th November, 1924, when I had the engine out for a general overhaul. Some parts had to be replaced through actual wear, but the mechanic said it was a treat to do a car like this as nothing had been abused, and he thought that under proper treatment these Fold E.ngines would last forever.” (Signed) R.
