PROFITS IN WOOL.
A BIG CLAIM. UNSUCCESSFUL SUITS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT MELBOURNE, .March 26. •- Judgment was delivered in the case known as. the skin and wool 'case, in which Bardsley, William, Angfiss and Co. (PtyJ. Ltd. and Kreglingler and Fernau claimed" £1,000,(XX) ■ from the Commonwealth Government. Central Wool Committee and the 8.A.W.R.A., with Sir John Higgins as the person holding moneys in trust. ■ • The plaintiffs claimed the right to participate in profits arising out, of the Imperial .Government’s wool realisation scheme during the last two years of the scheme’s operations so far as wool and skins were concerned. Judgment was given for the denfendants. Judgment was also delivered for the defendant's in the case in which Wilson, MofFlin, Crompton and Sons and others claimed £200,1X10 from the same defendants, with the exception of Sir John Higgins. Plaintiffs were claiming the right to participate in profits arising out of the charge of five-eights of a penny per pound on sheepskins handled by the Centra I Wool, Committee during the term of the Imperial wool purchase scheme.
