A Canterbury newspaper understands that the Afillerton miners have agreed to share the work offering on the hill in order that the dismissal notices received by 100 miners'may he held in abeyance. It js confidently anticipated that the recent Coal Commission’s visit will lead to a considerable increase in the output of coal from the Buller mines.
