The. Star’s Patea correspondent is informed that the sitting Mayor (Mr. P. S. Finlayson) has definitely decided not to seek re-election. It was reported to the meeting of the Hospital Board yesterday that Sister Dewar had resigned from the staff, in view of her early marriage. Sister Dewar has been for over, three years a sister in the hospital, and at times has been acting matron. ■,
