INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
! IN SOUTH TARANAKI. Hawera, being the central hospital for the whole of the southern part of the province, receives the cases for the district, and therefore all notifications appear here. The medical superintendent advises that since yesterday one severe case has been received, a. little girl of four years. No other notifica-tions-have been made, and the other cases in the hospital are all progressing favourably. j I/AST NIGHT’S RETORTS. (RY TFF.fHAPH PFFFO ASSOCIATION WELLINGTON, March 11. Nine notifications of infantile paralysis for the 24 hours to 9 a.m. to-day were made to the Health Department. These comprised Gisborne, Dannevirke, Mnsterton, Kapongn and Paeora one each; and Wanganui and Tirivaru two each. WANGANUI, March 11. Two cases of infantile paralysis were adintited to the hospital to-day. AUCKLAND, March 11.
Two deaths from infantile paralysis were notified here yesterday, one in Smith Auckland and cne in the Auckland Hospital.
