EXTRA EDITION.

EARLY ELECTION LIKELY. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT. (Received March 10, 12.55 p.m.) LONDON, March 9. 'l'he Star’s Belfast correspondent says that an immediate general election i® probable, owing to the Government’s decision to yield to Orange Lodges’ and Protestant churches’ pressure to amend the Education Act to allow Bible teaching in school. Sir James Craig, the Premier, will probably light the issue on the boundary question, thus disproving the allegations that the Protestants are disunited.—Sydney Sun Cable.
