GLAND TREATMENT,
WONDERF UL RESULTS REPORTED BV GABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—GOP VRIGHT. LONDON, March 8. An article in the Despatch, on glands says: “Those who are aware of the amazing results the gland treatment is daily producing believe, with good reason, that ugliness will soon be regarded as a disease as easily remediable as measles or tonsilitis.
It gives an instance of a baby girl, the heiress to her aristocratic parents’ large fortune, who was born with repulsively ugly, bloated and misshapen face, swollen, protruding lips, a prize fighter’s nose, and Mongolian eyes. The parents were ashamed of the child, and kept it in seclusion. They consulted a doctor, who realised that she was suffering from glandular deficiencies. He gave simple treatment to certain glands, resulting in a complete transformation. The child is now its parents’ pride.—Sydney Sun.
