A private session of the Council of the League of Nations was presided over by Mr Chamberlain. It lasted an hour. The question of loans and •advances to and investment of private capital in mandated territories was touched on, and it its proposed to refer the answer of the mandatory Powers to the Mandates Commission, which, is meeting at Geneva in June, but final decision will not be taken pending the arrival of the Belgian and Swedish mem lie rs of the Council. —Reuter. DELEGATES ARRIVING. GENEVA. March. 8. Mr Chamberlain has arrived, accompanied by the .British delegation of ten, including naval, military and air experts. JI.
