SEVENTH TIME.
'GERMANY'S PROTEST TO LEAGUE OF NATIONS. \ • OCCUPATION OF SAAR VALLEY. IV CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received March 2, 11.55 a.m. BERLIN, March 1. Germany’s seventh protest to the League of Nations against the presence of French troops in the Saar is more strongly worded than its predecessors. It declares that the position had not improved, despite the assurance from the Council of the League made over a year ago that the employment of French troops was purely temporary. It contends that the present situation violates the clearest stipulations of the peace treaty. —Reuter.
