DAIRY CONTROL.
BOARD’S PROPOSAL. APPROVED BY COUNCIL. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) v WELLINGTON, Feb. 28. The Dairy Council met yesterday, delegates being present from Southland, Otago, Canterbury, Wellington, Taranaki and Auckland. Mr Grounds, chairman of the Dairy Control Board, placed before the meeting the report of the overseas’ delegation of the Board. The following resolution was passed by a large majority: “That this meeting of the Dairy Council, after hearing the report of the overseas’ delegation, and proposed system of control by the Board, reiterates its confidence in the Board, and pledges itself to support the establishment of the control of dairy produce on the date decided upon by the Dairy Produce Control Board.”
