CHURCHES OF CHRIST.
SECOND DISTRICT CONFERENCE. The second annual district conference of the associated Churches of Christ in Manawatu. and Taranaki will be held to-morrow in the Hawera Church of Christ, Wilson Street, when delegates will-be’ present from Palmerston North, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and probably as fai? afield as Wellington. There will be morning and afternoon sessions, and a rally during the evening. The president, Mr. H. Grinstead, of P'almerston North, will be in the ohai r. Special addresses will be delivered by Messrs F. Marshall (New Plymouth) and G. D. Veroo (Wanganui). Mrs. EL. Allen, of Wanganui (who was first president of the - Christian Women’s Board of Missions in New Zealand), will deliver an address on women’s work. \ The services on Sunday will be taken by visiting members. Special badges have been prepared locally and will be worn. Delegates and local members "will be entertained iat a high tea- under the management lof the Christian Womens’ Auxiliary.
