R EAR J USTMENT WANTED. 3Y CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, Fell. 20. The .annual meeting of the Chamber of Shipping passed a resolution, urging the Government to complete as early as possible the chain of arrangements providing for the' taxation of shipping profits in the countiy ol domicile, and to join in promoting a general international plan to avoid double taxation and to proceed with the steps necessary to give effect- to the Imperial Conference’s resolution to avoid over assessment and the unnecessary duplication _ of work. Another resolution was carried expressing the hope in the near future that international commerce of all civilised countries would be freed from the handitap of the remaining vestiges of flag discrimination.
