‘BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Feb. 19, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 18. In the House of Commons. Commander Kenworthy asked for information respecting the new disarmament conference which was to he summoned by the President of the United States to discuss further limitations in naval armaments ; also whether His Majesty’s Government intended to make any proposals for such a conference. The Hon. ’Mr Chamberlain replied that' the matter had been informally mentioned in a conversation with the American Ambassador, and it was at present being considered.—Renter.
