INCREASES OVER 1 PRE-WAR PRICES.

A comparison of the Board of Trade index numbers of wholesale prices shows that while the price of imports during 1924 was only 55 per cent, over pre-war prices, those of exports were 89 per cent., over pre-war. The report emphasises the danger of this position.—-Renter.
