To finance the programme of Empire and foreign services 500,000 new £1 shares are being offered to shareholders at 27s 6d per share. BROADCASTING PLANS. / NEW YORK, Feb. 17. Plans are announced for linking up 18 broadcasting radio stations east of the Mississippi river with a combined range of 12,800,000 homes.
