The Times states that arrangements are being made in various parts -of the country to stimulate interest in Empire products. The Grocers Association is planning u series of Empire shopping weeks, the objec t of the campaign being to supplement Wembley’s lesson by bringing home to all classes the Empire’s resources. —Times. A scheme is maturing in London to form an Empire fruit corporation, to organise, more effective marketin'' and to°restrict foreign competition. It is learned from the provisional committee that representatives of the principa. Empire interests, including Australia and New Zealand, have already joined. The corporation will have fruit- consigned clLreet to its own warehouses, will make advances to growers, eliminating the brokers, and specula tors and effecting economies in distribution, but otherwise using ordinary trade channels .
