It is high time, says the Morocco correspondent of the Times, that steps were taken to counteract the pernicious story, current throughout Morocco, that the British Government is actively supporting the Riffs'. It is a prepotserous story, but. the correspondent emphasises, the Riffs believe it. He declares that the real culprits appear to be certain unofficial persons in Englnnd, wlio hti-vf loci tli£ Riffß to believe that they have the moral and political support of Britain.
