DEATH OF NURSE
MYSTERY SOLVED. CAUSE OF DEATH. WHAT INQUEST DISCLOSED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Feb. 14, 10 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 13. At the inquest on Florence Harrold, it was disclosed that she and Colonel Valentine Harvey, formerly of the Canadian Army, had been living as man and wife. Death was due to septicaemia following' childbirth. [Earlier messages stated that mystery attaches to tVe refusal of the registrar to sign a burial order for Florence Harrold, a young nurse who was recently staying in a bungalow on the outskirts of Frimlev, and who died in a cottage hospital. Tlie inquest was opened on January 29, at which the coroner said a post-mortem would have to be held. The father stated that Florence left home some weeks ago, saying she was going to meet a man, whom she named. ' The daughter later wrote frequently from" Aldershot. The inquest was adjourned.]
