CYCLIST CHEATS DEATH.
DRAGGED 30YDS UNDER CAP. ALBPTTY (N.S.W.), Jan. 24. A remarkable escape from death was experienced by a cyclist named Ludlow, ‘ who was knocked down by a motor-car and dragged for 30 yards underneath, the vehicle. Ludlow was returning from work shortly after 5 o’clock, when he came into collision with the car in Vine Street. He was knocked down, and dragged along the road under the car. When the car was stooped, Ludlow crawled out, and it was discovered that he had escaped with a fractured wrist, ininries to a hip, and. abrasions. The bicycle was smashed beyond repair. ...
