The president of the New Zealand aim! South Seas Exhibition has received a telegram from Sir Francis Bell as under: “Cabinet has agreed to lend £30,000 without interest, in addition to the two grants of £25,000 al l-eaily provided. The condition of the loan is that it has priority to any refund of capital to shareholders or donors. I trust this, will enable your iflansi to* he carried out, but, in any case, il should be understood that the Government cannot make further eonfcri butions.’’
