ELTHAM SCHOOL PICNIC. (From Our Own Correspondent.) In view of the approach of the date for the . holding of the Eltham school picnic to Moturoa. beach, the School Committee chairman (Air. I. J. Bridger) telegraphed to the Director-General of Health asking if the restrictions would lie lifted by that time, February 19. Dr. Valin tine has replied as under: “Please cancel school excursion train to New Plymouth. Official pronouncement regarding schools remaining closed will he made in a dav or two.”
