Grasping the leopard by the throat lie dragged jt from the prostrate bodies of his companions and fought it to death. He was very seriously clawed qnd bitten and lost n great deal of blood before he succeeded in forcing the leopard’s head to th« ground, when he strangled the life out of its body.
