SEVERAL MINOR ACCIDENTS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION--COPYRIGHT. (Received Feb. 7, 9.55 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Feb. 7. A cloudburst over the city caused the streets to be flooded. Water poured over the kerbstones into practically every basement in the city, and considerable damage- was done. The Government Meteorologist estimates that 100,000,000 gallons of water fell in the city propel. Five inches of rain were registered in two and a quarter hours. The downpour was heaviest in North Adelaide. Two civil servants were struck by lightning while standing at an office window, but they were not seriously injured. A young woman was swept off her feet while attempting to cross a flooded street. SJie was carried into a culvert, where she wan rescued with extreme difficulty.
