(Received Feb. 5, 11.50 a-™-) v SYDNEY, Feb. 5. The coal production in New South Wales for 1924 constitutes a record when compared with any P re v j° u s y P a l . Production amounted to 11,618,21 b tons, valued at £9,589,547, being an increase over 1923 of 1,139,703 tons, valued at £981,55,5." The highest tonpage recorded previously was 10./93,38/ in 1921. The total output of coke for 1924 was 564.362 tons, valued at £934,926. being a decrease of 16,012 tons, valued at £8327, as compared with the previous year.
