It is definitly announced that the French commercial mission organised at Strasboug, Karnmarsaud, will leave for Australia and New Zealand in September. It will be absent from six to eight months.The mission will endeavour firstly, to conclude direct contracts with firms likely to lie interested in French goods; secondly, to create local agencies on lines suggested by General Pan’s mission ; thirdly, to collect- infoirrnation regarding exports and imports. - It is pointed out. that direct maritime relations should be encouraged, in which there should be- a collecting and distributing centre. French goods that were likely to find a ready market includes confectionery, conserves, textiles, clothing, hats, porcelain tiles, glass, .footwear, paper, musical instruments, brushes, scientific instruments, cutlery, enamel ware, aluminium goods, silverware, dye stuffs, fertilizers, olive oil, wines, liqueurs, watches, toys, luxury goods, cinema films, machinery of all kinds. it is honed that Strasbourg will heonuie a centre for the sale ol wool, for France. The Strasboug committee is publishing a. monthly bulletin entitled France. The Strasbourg committee is Reuter.
