SKELETON IN ARMOUR.

RELTC OF SPANISH INVASION

Further excavations were planned on a spot IS miles south of Tajunta, California, where two hoys stumbled into a skeleton in armour.

Near the find was an Indian spear and parts "of an ancient flintlock hlunderbus, telling tales of a sixteenth century battle between Spanish Conquistadors and American Redskins. The armour is inlaid with ivory, and hears inscriptions which have not yet been deciphered.
