+ ENGINEER'S CLAIM. ALLEGATION OF THEFT. BY C*Bliß--PRK u< * ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. (Received Feb. 4, 9 a.m.) , LONDON, Feb. 3. Alexander Gore, an octogenarian engineer, is claiming before the Inventors Commission the award for the design of a motor lannch. He declared that the Government has built 1850 of his craft, which were used to attack Kiel Canal and other submarine bases. He added that he spent £50,000 in experimenting. He did not submit his design to the Admiralty, and consequently was of the opinion that the Admiralty acquired the plan through the Secret Service, which ransacked his office when he was accused of being a German spy. The hearing was adjourned.—Reuter.
