TWENTY-TWO ARRESTS

AUCKLAND CLUB RAIDED. DALMATIANS IN COURT. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, Jan. 31. Twenty-two men who were arrested when the 'nolice raided the Adriatic Club, consisting mainly of Dalmatians, last night, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court tins morning. Detective Hammond said the club had the reputation of being a common gaining house. W hen. the police visited it several men were playing hazards. Of the men charged seven pleaded guilty, and were fined £5 each. The remainder pleaded not guilty, and were remanded till Friday.
