Submarine S4B was piled on the rocks near Plymouth, New Hampshire, last night, and early this morning the vessel was reported to be in a dangerous position. Heavy seas carried away the radio. Help was sent, but rescuers were unable to reach the vessel. Grave fears are entertained for the safety of her crew, who number 35.
