HAWERA WATER SUPPLY.
PRESSURES FOR WEEK. A satisfactory increase on last week’s Hawera water pressure figures will be noted in tlhose of this week, the average being over 3lbs better in the day and lOlibs at night. The increase during the day is apparently due to people not using so much, and the night pressure benefits because gardens have not called for so much owing to the good rainfall in the early part, of the week. The week’s table is: ; ‘ Pressure readings (lbs to square inch) Date 9 a.m. Noon. Night
