MOTORING INTERESTS.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE. REMITS FROM SOUTH TARANAKI. At the special meeting of the South Taranaki Automobile Association held last night the question of remits was considered, and several remits were instructed to be forwarded to the conference, which meets at Napier next month. These deal with the abolition of toll-gates, protest against the letters N.Z. on registration plates, signposts and milestones, mirrors on lorries, pooling of fees 'collected, official road guide, alternations and amendments to the regulations under the Motor Vehicles Act.

The delegates appointed .to go to the eon fere nee to represent South'Taranaki were Messrs W. O’Caliaghan and E. P. Cox.
