INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
TO-DAY’S NOTIFICATIONS. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 26. The Health Department received the following notifications of fresh cases of infantile paralysis for the 48 hours ending 9 a.m. to-day: Auckland City 2, Tauranga 1, Masterton 5, Mauriceville West 1. There have been no fresh cases in Wellington or suburban districts during the past two days, and no notifications have been received from the South Island. The total number of cases in the Dominion for the past two days was ton, and for the preceding two days seventeen. The total number from November 25 until to-day was 200.
CASE AT DANNEVIRKE
DANNEVIRKE, Jan. 26
The first case of infantile paralysis during the present epidemic was notified in the Dannevirke district to-day, the patient being a child of a t set tier at Ruaroa. Tt is an acute case. FIXTURES POSTPONED. PAHTATUA, Jan. 26. On account of the infantile paralysis epidemic, the A. and P. Show and swimming carnival, which were to have been held on Friday next, have been indefinitely postponed.
