MANAIA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

REORGANISING THE BAND

The general public, bandsmen and beginners are invited to attend a meeting on Tuesday night at 'the Manaia Town Hall at 8 o’clock, the object being the reorganisation of the Manaia Municipal Brass Band. The chairman of the Manaia Town Board is desirous that there should be a good attendance of the public and bandsmen. A brass band to any town is a very valuable asset, and tiie Manaia Municipal Brass Band, in the past, lias always been to the front wherever their services were required for any worthy object. No doubt a good muster will come forward and once more put this worthy institution on a sound footing.
