NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY AN ADDITIONAL GENERAL RATE FOR 1924-1925. pUBLIC Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Rating Act, 1908,” and the amendments thereto, and “The Counties Act, 1920,” and amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Council of the Hawera County at a special meeting of the Council to be held on SATURDAY, 7th FEBRUARY, 1925, at the Council Chambers, Princes Street, Hawera, to make and levy an ADDITIONAL GENERAL RATE upon the capital value of. all rateable properties within the respective ridings of the said County as follows: HAWERA Riding, Jd in the £. ARARATA Riding, in the £. \ MOKOIA Riding, |d in the £. Such rates shall be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1924, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1925, and shall become payable in one sum on the 12th day of March, 1925, at the County Office, Princes St., Hawera, to the County Cl£rk and Treasurer.
