At the Supreme Court, Judge Reed passed sentence on the following prisoners : —Clvaries Edward .Hanson, aged. 41, for breaking, entering and theft at. Hunterville, to twelve months’ imprisonment on two charges, sentences to be concurrent and prisoner to- be declared an habitual criminal; James Allen Dix. aged 42, for breaking, entering and theft at Paliiatua. to twelve months’ hard labour and to be declared an habitual criminal: Timi P'iti. married, aged 27, for forgery at Forirna. to IS months’ probation : Leonard Clarence Olsen, aged 27. for theft* and forgery, three ye art’ probation.
