LOSS OF CURATES RESENTED. LONDON. Jan. 5. The congregation of the two tithings Lift and Northwick, in the parish of Hoiibiiry-oii-thc-Severn, have gone on strike. This action lias been taken as a protest against a decision by the Rev. Charles Parry Way. the vicar, to substitute resident laymen to conduct services in place of the curates who have previously carried out the work.
