The Daily Mail says: “It is intended to make Singapore the biggest station for commercial airships on the Anglo-liulian-Australian route, as Avell as a base for British air poAver in the East, from Avhich na\ r al airships will be able to patrol the AAdiole Eastern seas. The station Avill contain eA T ery facility for handling land and seaplanes, also airships. Already an aeroplane carrier, the Pegasus, Avith a fleet of fairy amphibians, is carrying out the preliminary survey of Singapore, before the base is finally located. Giant sheds Avill be erected to accommodate airships even bigger than Burney’s monsters. In addition, there Avill be a mooringmast and regassing plant. —Sydney Sun Cables.
