The Daily Express’ Berlin conespondent states that a wealthy manufacturer named Ophuysen ended an illicit love .affair by driving a motorcar with his wife and tw > daughters full speed into a river. All were drowned except the daughter, aged eight. The girl with whom Ophuysen had promised to go to America endeavoured to commit suicide when ebe heard of the tragedy. She was arrested.
