PLUNKET SOCIETY.
OPUNAKE BRANCH. The ordinary meeting of the Opunake branch of tiie Piunket Society was held last Friday. 'The report of the nurse set out. that the number of mothers with babies visiting the room was 120, while the nurse had attended twenty-four children in their homes. A special effort will be made to raise funds by a street mart on the next sale day, and every member is requested to do all possible to ensure success. MOVEMENT AT KAPONGA. A meeting of all ladies interested in the formation of a Piunket branch at Kaponga will be held in the reading room next Friday afternoon.
