After a meeting of the committee of management of the Watersiders’ Federation, whose personnel includes representatives from each State, a statement was issued announcing that the committee resented the action of the Trades and Labour Council at Adelaide in declaring the steamer Baron Maclay black.' A telegram was sent to the secretary of the Council, asking that body to' refrain from interfering with or declaring vessels black. The secretary of the federated branch at Port Adelaide was asked to instruct members of the Federation to work the Baron Maclny.
