Mr Downie Stewart, Minister for Customs, is not prepared to confirm the Dunedin report that he intends to visit Canada.; however, he says that he contemplates a trip to America, and possibly larger affairs will require his attention, if the proposed conference for the ratification of the Geneva protocol in London next March takes place, the probability is that the Hon. Mr Downie Stewart would he the Minister selected by the Prime Minister to represent New Zealand. The whole position remains in doubt until there is a definite pronouncement regarding the proposed consultation of representatives from all parts of the Empire,
