MANGAHAO HYDRO WORKS.
CONSTRUCTION OF DAM. (BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 21. Another dam is to be . constructed further up the Mangahao river, at a cost of £60,000. This is part of the original scheme, but was not considered necessary at the beginning. It will, however, be required before the full load can he carried.
