BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Jan. 21, 9.40 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 20. It is understood that the British Government lias undertaken to provide the following subsidies for the Dominions at Wembley 1925 Exhibition as a contribution towards the cost- of pavilions : —Canada £70,000 ((maximum) ; Australia, £50,000 (minimum); New Zealand, £25.000 (minimum); South Africa, £15,000; India, not determined. Newfoundland intimated that it did not require a. subsidy. South Africa also intimated that she idd not require a larger subsidy, having already a surplus of £IS,(XX) from the 1924 session.—A. and N.Z. Cable Assn.
