BATSMEN CAUTIOUS. WELLINGTON WANTS 35 TO WIN. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON. Jan. 19. In the Blanket Shield match to-day Henderson joined McGirr. Both batted with extra caution. One hundred appeared on the hoard after 108 minutes’ play. The men were together at the lunch adjournment, when the score was 128 for seven wickets. Wellington requires 35 runs to win.
