The. secretary of the Steamship Owners’ Association, replying to the Lord Mayor’s suggested conference to-mor-row to discuss the waterside, trouble, while expressing appreciation of the kindly intervention, says as the matter is already before the Federal Arbitration Court and therefore sub judice, thev are not in a nosition to confer. MELBOURNE, Jan. 18. After some delay in completing the crew, the Manuka sailed for Wellington last evening.
